Why you should visit Lefkada?

According to an older post on the Telegraph.co.uk Lefkada (island in the Ionian sea, Greece) is “The perfect break” because it's one of the Ionian's most unspoiled islands with emerald clear blue water and glorious sandy beaches.

Not many things have changed since then, except that this “secret” wasn't kept too tight.
You’re probably bound to have seen photographs of Lefkada’s world-renowned beaches and but we can assure you that when you'll arrive, you’ll quickly realze that this island is even better in the real life than in its amazing photos.

You must swim in Kathisma beach, Egremni beach, Milos and Porto Katsiki – the most beautiful beaches in the Mediterranean (have won international acclaim and are awarded annually with Blue Flags) visit the part of the old town in the capital, Dimosari waterfalls, the traditional villages of Karya, Agios Nikitas, Vassiliki and Nidri, set sail to the islets around Lefkada (Scorpios: The famous island of Aristotle's Onassis - now owned by Dmitry Rybolovlev - is among them) and live the local way.

Visit Lefkada in September. Prices are lower, temperatures milder and the amazing beaches less crowed.
